On the way to Wallis, we made a stop on an island called Niuatoputapu. It is the most northen and the last island of Tonga.

| A special day in Niuatoputapu |  |
Niuatoputapu suffered from a tsunami in 2009 that destroyed most of the three villages on the island. During our stay, one of the villages could celebrate the completion of a whole new neighbourhood donated by the World Bank. The picture shows the day when the villagers were handed over the keys to their new homes. Grand celebrations! |
