Again, the Indian ocean has been tough on our last long leg from Chagos to Rodrigues. We were very happy to arrive for various reasons: we would finally be able to get some fresh crispy fruits and vegetables, most of the indian ocean was behind us and we were looking forward to have some visitors on Le Maméju.
Our first contact with the island was its hospital, as Fred had a small infection in his right leg which went quickly away after few days on antibiotics.
Then finally, we could completely enjoy the very welcoming islanders, their great food, and the wonderful Creole athmosphere.
