Réunion (September 2013)Entering into Cirque de Mafate |  | Mafate is the wildest and most remote of Réunion's cirques. There are no roads into the cirque so the villages inside are accesible only by foot or by helicopter.
We loved to get out of the hustle and bustle of the coast, overcrowded with cars and civilization. Because of the isolation, entering the cirque was like coming to a preserved natural island within the island of Réunion, spectacular! |
