Saint Helena (April 2014)Napoleon's last residence |  | Napoleon was sent in exile on the island in 1815. He first lived in Jamestown until the house in Longwood was ready to welcome him.
After what he descibed as his most inactive and boring years, he died in 1821 in this house. |
